One of our roles here at Visit Spokane is to advocate on behalf of the tourism industry on legislative matters. The Washington Tourism Alliance (WTA) was formed to advocate for a sustainable statewide tourism program and help to promote all of Washington as a destination. Right now, the WTA is preparing legislation that will support its tourism marketing objectives. These strategic marketing plans, when implemented, will increase incremental travel to Washington.
This is where you come in.
The WTA is seeking input from all of us about what we'd like to see from a new statewide tourism effort. This is our opportunity to express our priorities, our ideas, and to advocate for what we need. What does our region need to help position Washington as a destination? Who are the key audiences that we'd like the WTA to target in order to support travel to Washington? This is our chance to contribute to the planning process and you are all encouraged to take a few minutes and respond to a short survey so that your perspective is heard. Follow this link to complete the survey and express your interests in the future marketing programming for Washington:
