Holiday Shopping & More - Spokane Valley

Looking for the best holiday shopping options around Spokane Valley? There is far more to see and do than just the Spokane Valley Mall. With dozens of quaint, local boutiques to peruse through, your holiday shopping list doesn't stand a chance!

Whether you stick to the main drag on East Sprague or venture toward more tucked-away places, Spokane Valley is teeming with holiday season possibilities. And Spokane Valley Mall isn’t the only place in the Valley to check items off your shopping list. PINE STREET MARKET AND BOUTIQUE is a different type of mall — it’s a vendors’ mall — with over 100 sellers displaying their vintage, antique and new retail goods in booths throughout the spacious store. Vendor manager Amanda Tracy says, “The girls here are amazing at refinishing furniture, giving junky old pieces new life” and points out the Market carries new clothing and crafting supplies, too.

What’s popular at Pine Street? One vendor “has an extensive Star Wars, G.I. Joe and Transformers collection of old school toys” that consistently draws crowds. The shop also sells “lots of vinyl records and DVDs.” Beginning in November, the vendors mall will be open on Sundays through the holiday season “to give people the extra day to get stuff squared away.”

Wiped out from winter errands? Slow down and unwind at PAINTING WITH A TWIST on East Sprague. Wet your paintbrush with a little art therapy, and wet your whistle with the studio’s many drink options. (Snacks are also abundant!) Painters young and old will leave the studio with a completed painting — say, a pet portrait — that could double as a personalized gift. At-home painting kits and gift certificates are also available, and the parking is free.

If you’re in the mood to sip something without a canvas involved, saunter into the tasting room and gift shop at LATAH CREEK WINE CELLARS on East Indiana, open 9-5. The Spanish-style building may make you feel far from Spokane. And for additional staycation vibes, hit up MAX AT MIRABEAU for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Feeling festive? Order the “Famous ‘Max’ Mimosa” featuring Grand Marnier.
