Spokane Spring Itinerary
Springtime in Spokane is here! The Lilac City is getting ready to bloom with all new events. If you're looking for a day trip in Spokane, here's an itinerary for inspiration.
8:00 am: Breakfast at Rockwood Bakery (315 E 18th Avenue) on Spokane’s South Hill.
9:00 am: Walk from Rockwood Bakery to magnificent Manito Park (1702 S Grand Boulevard). The park features five distinct gardens: Japanese Garden, Duncan Garden, Rose Garden, Perennial Garden, and Lilac Garden.
10:30 am: Ride the Numerica SkyRide (507 N Howard Street) over the Spokane Falls. The best viewing times are April through June. Then, explore Riverfront and Huntington Parks.
12:30 pm: Lunch at The Grain Shed (1026 E Newark Street). This spot is all about sustainability, plus it’s a cooperative. No wasted loaves, no wasted grains.
2:00 pm: Raft the Spokane River with Wiley E. Waters Whitewater Rafting. (1701 W Water Avenue)
5:00 pm: Cease & Desist Book Club (108 N Washington Street) for a pre-dinner cocktail. Alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks are available.
6:30 pm: Dinner at Mango Tree. (401 W Main Ave) Grab a mango lassi and Chicken Tikka Masala, then get ready to savor the flavors.
