The Perfect Broadway Day in Spokane

Are you in Spokane to see a show under the Best of Broadway lights? Back to the Future: The Musical's own Doc Brown, David Josefsberg, saw the best sights around the Lilac City: all within walking distance of the First Interstate Center of the Arts. Spend a day downtown before you see the big show, with tips from Doc Brown himself!

The Perfect Broadway Day starts here!

Start your day: Grab a coffee at Atticus Coffee or Indaba Coffee!

Hit the Town: Make a stop at Auntie's Bookstore, Spokane's premier indie bookstore. Josefsberg picked up a copy of Future Boy by Michael J. Fox, an inspiration for the hit musical!

Stop for lunch: Cochinito Taqueria is a classic lunch spot in downtown Spokane, slinging tacos and other reimagined Mexican fare across their counters since 2018.

Take a Walk in the Park: Riverfront Park, to be exact. Josefsberg rode the Numerica Skyride over the Spokane Falls, slid down the Red Wagon, and gazed upon the iconic clock tower.

Play Ball: Avista Stadium is home to Spokane's minor league baseball team, the Spokane Indians. See an awesome game at an affordable price, catch them on their stunning fireworks night, and you can't forget meeting Ribby the Redband Trout and the beloved Ribby shake (yes, this is a thing, and it can't be missed!).

Dinner Time: Steelhead Bar & Grille is nestled in the brick alleys down Howard and Main, and they've got elevated versions of classic bar fare.
