1 day | Ages 16+ This is an amazing wilderness-like natural area on the west slopes of Mica Peak. The Spokane County-owned conservation area ranges in elevation from 2,800’ to 4,800’, thereby hosting a variety of plant communities from sub-alpine to open Ponderosa pine forest, to aspen and birch groves that turn gold in the fall. Views overlooking Spokane Valley, the Palouse, and beyond can be taken in throughout the property. This will be a 3-5 mile loop with moderate uphill hiking. Snowshoe, poles, instruction, guides and transportation included.
