The Heart of Russia with the Spokane Symphony and Natasha Paremski

    This final classics concert of the Spokane Symphony's 72nd season is called "The Heart of Russia," and features guest artist, pianist Natasha Paremski. The concert will be conducted by Music Director Eckart Preu. The program includes Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 1, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 1, "Winterdreams," which incorporates Russian folk music themes, and Mikhail Glinka's 'Kamarinskaya," the first orchestral work based entirely on Russian folk music.
