Traditional Native Mindfulness - Sunset Buti Yoga

    The Native Mindfulness package is an opportunity for our visitors to unwind and help promote self-care, mindfulness, consciousness, and self-understanding. This dynamic package includes a 1.5 hour Buti yoga studio taught by Amanda Abrahamson.

    Buti yoga is a trademarked style of yoga that combines jump training (plyometrics), tribal dancing and dynamic yoga asanas into an intense workout. In Marathi, the language spoken in parts of western India, buti means “a secret remedy or cure.”

    Participants will get a 30-minute introduction to Amanda’s unique style of teaching the Buti yoga style and movements and a 1 hour Buti yoga class. The yoga is taught from the Plateau Native mindset with a style that reflects our traditional movements in our Tribal lifestyle with a focus on core strength, breathing, posture, and self-awareness. Amanda incorporates Plateau culture and values and infuses the Buti yoga studio with Plateau storytelling and powwow dance movement.

    THE PACKAGE INCLUDES:

    • Yoga bag, mat, hydra water bottle, and cooling towels

    • A 30-minute introduction to Amanda’s unique style of teaching the Buti yoga style and movements

    • A 1-hour Buti yoga class

    • A light paleo-diet meal following the class
