Bernstein’s music from West Side Story burns with the intensity and romance of his urban retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Creston’s Fantasy for Trombone showcases the expressive power of the Spokane Symphony’s own John Church. The evening’s finale, Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, will leave the audience thrilled and breathless.
With both shows there is a pre-concert lecture 1hr prior.....Sat 630pm and Sun 2pm.
