Spokane Wineries and Tasting Rooms

Grapes grown in the Pacific Northwest, especially the Columbia Valley, can be found in Spokane’s wineries. Tasting rooms and cellars offer a modern setting to explore both vintage and innovative wines alike. Experienced sommeliers will walk you through wines from a variety of appellations and regions throughout the country and the world. Guests will experience the same personal touch at each of Spokane’s wine tasting rooms and wineries that is a hallmark of Spokane’s tastemakers.

Downtown Spokane & Kendall Yards Wineries

Downtown Spokane is the city’s wine epicenter as it has the most locations that make up the city’s Cork District. In this vicinity are tasting rooms and cellars that you won’t want to miss.

If you are in the mood for a full winery experience, be sure to check out Barrister Winery. The Barrister barrel room is situated under the train trestle for the BNSF Railroad, and this proximity to the railroad tracks contributes to the wine making process as trains rumble by. While Barrister wine is aged from for one and a half to four years, the vibrations from each passing train assists in settling the solids in each barrel—creating uniquely “train settled” wine. Now that’s some good vibrations and excellent libations.

Kendall Yards is home of the Maryhill Winery Tasting Room that offers patrons a world-class wine tasting experience they soon won’t forget. Choose from the Main Tasting Room or Club Room each for a fee, and be sure to call ahead to make sure you can get in to this popular tasting room.

Spokane Valley Wineries

Downtown Spokane isn’t the only area offering unique wine tasting experiences. Spokane Valley provides a place to explore the world of Washington wine in a countryside setting. Arbor Crest’s Historic Cliff House offers beautiful panoramic views of the Spokane Valley. Royal N. Riblet designed and built the estate in 1924. Today, Arbor Crest holds its Summer Concert Series at the Historic Cliff House every year with music genres ranging from rock and country to blues and jazz. Plus, winter visitors should add Arbor Crest’s Fireside music series to their entertainment plans to enjoy live musical acts paired with food options and great wine.

Latah Creek Wine Cellars is another great wine establishment in Spokane Valley. This family-owned wine cellar has been serving its patrons award winning wine since 1982. For a local fave, try a glass and perhaps take home a bottle of Huckleberry d’Latah.

Green Bluff Wineries

North of  Spokane Valley, Green Bluff is home to popular wine spots such as Townshend Cellar. This quaint location offers quality wines aged in small French and American oak barrels, giving them a distinct flavor. Townshend Cellar’s Diamond T Wine Club provides members with benefits that are sure to wow any wine enthusiast.

Up the road, you’ll find Trezzi Farm. Their tractor barn-turned tasting room offers gorgeous vineyards vistas, a relaxing courtyard and, of course, wine.
