2026 marks a significant milestone for Visit Spokane: 50 years of championing our region as a place to visit, live, work, and belong. Since our founding, we've been guided by a simple but powerful belief that thoughtful destination promotion can elevate an entire community.

Over the past five decades, our work has evolved well beyond traditional marketing. While inviting visitors to experience the region remains core to our mission, we've also seen firsthand how destination promotion strengthens economic vitality, and enhances quality of place for residents. From supporting small businesses to fueling the creative economy, the benefits ripple far beyond tourism alone.

Early 2000’s

Visit Spokane
