This art exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of Expo ’74, and the legacy of creativity, community, and environmental stewardship that drives Spokane to this day. As part of the anniversary of Expo ’74, the selection of works and award winners will be based upon the work’s adherence to the landscape theme and issues, as well as the themes of creativity, community and environmental stewardship. The special, juried exhibition will include about 75 landscape works of art, in various media, created by dozens of artists, all from the Inland Northwest. The exhibit kicks off with a reception and awards ceremony May 31, 4-7 pm. The works will be on display in the Jundt Galleries and Arcade Gallery June 1 to August 24.
