Korean Cooking

Join Chef Curtis Smith for a delicious journey to the heart of Korean Cuisine. In this hands-on cooking class, you will prep, cook and devour three classic dishes from Korea.
Up first, Bulgogi. Literally translated as “fire meat, ” you will discover the secret to a flavor packed beef marinade before searing it, slicing it and then making a lettuce wrap with rice and Ssamjang, a spicy condiment made with Gochujang hot pepper paste.
Next is Kimchee Pancakes featuring Korea’s most famous kitchen staple. This spicy, tangy and funky pickled cabbage is combined with a pancake batter, fried and served with sweet and spicy soy garlic sauce.
Last but not least, sample Toasted Rice Cakes with Bacon and Gochujang, a unique but simple comfort food beloved by Koreans from childhood, probably when their Halmeoni (Grandma) made it for them.
On the menu:
Korean style Bulgogi
Toasted Rice Cakes
Kimchi Vegetable Pancakes
