Proof

Jul 9th to Jul 10th

Presented by Ella's Supper Club

This production of Proof is being independently produced and directed by Scott Worley in collaboration with local Spokane artists. This is not the launch of a new theatre company, but an independent project created in support of the Spokane theatre community, with a focus on thoughtful storytelling and strong theatrical craft.

Following the death of her brilliant but mentally unstable father, Catherine is left navigating grief, uncertainty, and the fear that she may have inherited more than his mathematical genius. As a former student searches through her father’s notebooks for undiscovered work and her sister pressures her toward a different future, Catherine is forced to confront questions of trust, identity, love, and the fragile line between brilliance and instability.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play, Proof is a poignant, intimate, and surprisingly funny exploration of family, sacrifice, and the cost of being truly seen.

Content Advisory: Adult language and themes surrounding mental illness, grief, and emotional distress.
