The Root Experience is a 3-day festival featuring BIPOC talent from various cultures and disciplines.

Through a meaningful partnership with the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino, enjoy three days with regional filmmakers, visual artists, fashion designers, culture bearers, and musicians who carry the living stories of their communities. When we share our lived experiences on our own terms, we erase the artificial borders drawn between us. More importantly, we show the next generation that their passion is a valid, necessary path.

• November 12th includes a youth workshop, industry panel, films, performances, and a community meal.
• November 13th includes a youth workshop, industry panels, films, and live performances.
• November 14th will feature 2 locations. We will be hosting a partnered youth workshop and the gallery exhibit at CLTRE Gallery in Spokane, with a fashion show, performances, and a blanket ceremony that takes place that evening at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino.
