What We Do
We are a Destination Marketing and Management Organization (DMO) and it’s our job to tell the world about the Spokane region.
We bring conventions, meetings and leisure travelers to Spokane County who fill up hotels, the Convention Center and other venues. The revenue generated benefits every person who lives here.
Think of it this way. The beautiful Spokane region is the organization and Visit Spokane is the marketing department for it. Our strategic initiatives drive attention to Spokane from far and away, and the attention creates a positive impact for all the cities in Spokane County. We market to meeting planners then convention attendees fill hotel rooms and spend money in our community. We promote everything the region has to offer and draw leisure travelers as well. We sell the nature, the culture, the shops, the culinary, beer and wine scenes – and we sell YOU— the businesses making greater Spokane a must-see destination.
Every stage of the convention sales cycle is a benefit to our Partners. In the interest phase, site tours provide exposure for hotels and businesses. After commitment, with hotels and meeting venues booked, the next phase of planning these huge events begins.
