Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods are open for business and safe to visit. We're very sorry to hear you've been affected. We can help identify lodging options in the Spokane area. We understand that displaced residents may also be directed to community support locations, including the Spokane Convention Center and Spokane Falls Community College. Because emergency shelter and assistance locations can change, we encourage you to verify current information with Spokane County Emergency Management.
Are Visit Spokane and the Visitor Center open?
As of 12pm on 8/4 the Visitor Center building at Riverfront Park is temporarily closed but our staff is answering phones remotely to address any questions visitors may have. We plan on reopening the Visitor Center building on Thursday 8/6 and will update this page to reflect any changes to that timeline.
