Spokane Restaurant Week (SRW) is underway and my family has dined at three different restaurants and is really having a great time. We started at Ciao Mambo on Friday evening with our son and one of his friends. The SRW menu selection is fantastic and both my husband and I chose from that menu. Although the portions are a little smaller than their regular dinner offerings, we both appreciated the portion size. Our son and his friend decided on a yummy pizza off the regular menu. There was plenty of food and we shared our desserts with the entire table. To top it all off, the service was great which made our dinner a wonderful start to the weekend!
Our next stop was Stacks at the Steam Plant. I was the only one who ordered from the SRW menu and everyone sampled the salmon and banana foster tart. Talk about delicious! The setting at Stacks is truly unique and we toured the building and appreciated the pictures from the renovation and story of this historic building.
Last night, we joined friends at Churchill's Steakhouse and savored their excellent steaks. Only two people in our party ordered from the SRW menu and we shared sides and wine in addition to our entrees. Everyone was satisfied with the perfect portion sizes, decadent flavors and the exemplary service. I'm sure we'll return.
